A Lesson From The Gunny
I know that President Obama has already gotten enough grief from the Navy Corpsmen for his mis-pronunciation of corpsmen but I just couldn't resist giving him a jab of my own for what he did to my Marine Corps (pronounced "core"), not corpse.
But I don't have to say a word, Gunney R. Lee Ermey himself, he of the real Marine Corps and Hollywood Marines both, said it for me. And nobody can say it better than Gunny R. Lee Ermey! Hoo Rah Gunny!
